Clarification Of Salvation By Faith And Following The Law

Faith and the Law

Salvation is the most important things we should know in our Spiritual living. Now we will talk about salvation by faith to Jesus Christ. What is the comparison and what is the relationship between faith to Jesus Christ and obeying the Law of Moses. The Law of Moses is coming from God but both have considered as the way of salvation.

What is the difference between faith and the Law?

Comparing about faith and the Law there should be difference regarding on the way of salvation of mankind because in the book of (Galatians 2:16) Paul said that God saved us by the grace those who have faith to Jesus Christ and not by following the Law. God saved us by faith alone because nobody complied with the Law. But we should not consider that the Law is foolish because God will use the Law as the bases either a person is sinner or not (Roman 3:20). God also award us base on our works during judgement (Rome 2:6-7). We can say nobody can perfect but God making us perfect those who have faith and believe to Jesus Christ.

Is there any connection of having faith and the law?

The man who has faith of the Lord should be following the law given by the Lord. It means that the Law is connected to the faith because we cannot name it as a real faith if there is no action. In the book of James said that the faith without action is useless (James 2:14-26). So, faith and action should always together.

3 Important Steps for the Salvation

- So, the first step for the salvation is faith to Jesus Christ (Galatians 2:16). Once you have faith on him, you must believe on his messages on the Gospel.

- The second step for the salvation is the action, means do what he wants. Jesus Christ asking us to love one another (John 13:34). It means that don’t do anything that produce bad to your fellow.

- The third step for the salvation is repent of your sins and be baptized (Acts 2:38). Jesus also said; those who believe and baptized is saved (Mark 16:16). Why we need baptism? It is because nobody can go to heaven without baptism (John 3:5) and this is the way that the Lord spirit comes and lives to our body (Galatians 3:27), but we need to repent our sins before the baptism perform to clean our soul before he lives us. But keep in mind that Jesus Christ assign somebody to authorise on forgiving our sins (John 20:22-23).

Well, if the spirit of the Lord was with us, we should always do good things because the spirit of the Lord is love, peace, joy, patience, gentleness, and kindness (Galatians 5:22). If you still continue doing bad things, the spirit will leave from your body. The spirit will go out to your body when you still continue to do badly and please don’t allow it happen to you because the spirit of the Lord is the sign that we are his own, and this is the guarantee that we saved in the final day of redemption (Ephesians 4:30).
